Beer and mud.  Pretty simple.

I love beer.  I’ve been homebrewing since right out of college in ‘93.  Worked briefly at the now-defunct Oxford Brewing Co. in MD.   I wanted to be a pro brewer, and sometimes I still do but I’m just as happy doing what I’m doing.

I got turned on to cyclocross after watching the 2003 USGP races here in Portland.  It looked like a ridiculous amount of fun and pain.   I started at the bottom the next year with my mountain bike and have been slowly moving my way up.  I’m in the B+35 category for the rest of the season and then I’ll move up to A+35 next year.
