It needs to be really close so that the chain can not get between it and the chain ring, because then your day is really cooked! think about shortening your chain as well. Hope you have a good team deal on shades. We have Rudy and they have great team deals! I'm assessing the damage to my new tubular. I'm not sure if it's repairable so I've got an email in to Schwalbe. I also lost my sunglasses so it was a pretty expensive race. Erik V. tried the 'SS warm-up' thing last week & looked like you did Sunday :-) I've noticed that if your last name isn't "Tonkin", then the 2 race deal doesn't go so hot. I don't have a 3rd Eye but I'm going to try and get over to Sellwood or Veloshop this week to pick one up. I run a double in the front so I'm not sure how it'll work. See you Sunday. I’ve noticed that if your last name isn’t “Tonkin”, then the 2 race deal doesn’t go so hot.

Lost a tubular and a tube. Converting the mich to a tubless set up tonight. Did the SS race just to "warm up", that was stupid! Great job moving up.
